過去數年，你説過要帶領香港「由亂到治，由治及興」。然而，這個「由治及興」的城市卻容許大火燒死151人。你可否告訴大家，為何你應該繼續擔任行政長官？
Over the past few years, you have spoken about leading Hong Kong from chaos to order and from order to prosperity. And yet, this prosperous society allowed 151 people to burn to death. Can you tell us why you deserve to keep your job?
行政長官李家超（00:16-02:04）：
當然，沒有人希望發生火災。我們會全力以赴。政府、社會各界、所有相關人員都已竭盡所能。但不同城市都會發生火災，即使其政府和社區都竭盡所能（去預防）。我們會竭盡所能預防火災。但政府當務之急是確保（修補）一些制度缺陷。這些缺陷可能是日積月累形成的。我們需要強化制度。我們需要改革制度。我們需要確保既得利益不會導致這種悲劇發生。有很多因素，而我已經向你們解釋，我們必須解決的不同領域，以及我們已經確定的不同問題。每一項我們都會處理。不是其中一項，而是每一項（都會處理）。我們也願意聆聽更多意見和觀點。這些都會納入調查和審查之中。我還想強調另外一點，現在是各位為一個崇高的目標團結一致的時候。但假如有人企圖破壞社會各界的奉獻，我定會竭盡所能，伸張正義。
Nobody, of course, will want fire to happen. We'll do our best. It has been the effort of the government, of everybody in society, of everybody involved in this area to do their best. But fire happens in different cities despite different cities governments and communities try their best to do it. We'll do our best to prevent it. But exactly what the government must do now to ensure that some system failure which may have been accumulating over years. We need to strengthen the system. We need to reform it. We need to ensure vested interest will not be allowed to be a factor to cause this tragedy. There are a number of factors and I have explained to you the different areas that we must tackle, the different issues that we have identified. We work on each one of them, not a single one of them, each and every one of them. And we're willing to listen to more views, opinions about what they have discovered. This will be included in the investigation and also included in the review to be conducted. I just want to ensure one other thing. This is a time for everybody to unite for a good purpose. But for anybody who try to sabotage the commitment of society, I will do all I can to ensure justice is done.
